This is the full game, not a watered-down version. Same symbols, same features, same math engine CollectR certified in 2024. The birds collect gems identically, the bonus triggers work the same way, multipliers pay out using the exact logic you'd get with real money.

You start with €5,000 demo balance. Enough to test the grid expansion, see how the bandit escape works, trigger the train heist a few times. Bets go from €0.20 to €100 – adjust them to match what you'd actually play, so you know what the volatility feels like at your stake.

No time limit, no spin cap. If you want to understand the symbol collection meter before committing cash, demo lets you do that. The game's complex – four collecting birds, dynamite expanding the grid, duels, coin games – you'll want a few rounds to see how it all connects.

Four colourful birds navigate a grid collecting gems like they're solving a real-time puzzle—that's Pirots 3 stripped to basics, but the reality plays more like a Rube Goldberg machine. Birds trigger train heists, trains drop features, meanwhile a caged bandit waits to escape and flip the script. ELK's third Pirots in 18 months—following the original Pirots and Pirots 2—keeps layering mechanics onto this collecting-birds chassis until each spin feels less like a slot round and more like watching a cartoon Western heist unfold in fast-forward, complete with shootouts, coin-grabbing mini-games and a 10,000x win cap that demands genuine chaos to reach.

How To Play

Setting Your Bet

Before you spin, tap the coin stack icon on the left panel or the bet display at the bottom. This opens a grid with 12 preset bet amounts ranging from €0.20 to €100.00, arranged in three columns. The current bet glows cyan blue—just tap any other amount to switch. There's no slider or +/- buttons; you're selecting from fixed options. Once you've chosen, tap outside the grid or the X to close it.

Spinning the Reels

The large circular button in the bottom right corner is your spin button. One tap starts a game round at your selected bet. Simple enough, but there's a twist: if you hold down that spin button instead of tapping, you'll trigger auto spin without opening any menus. It's the quickest way to start continuous play.

For more control over auto play, use the Auto button on the right side of the screen (the circular arrow icon). Tap it and you'll choose from 10, 25, 50, or 100 automatic spins. The game runs through your selected number, stopping when the count runs out or if you tap the button again to cancel.

X-iter Bonus Buy

The blue X-iter plaque on the left panel lets you buy direct entry to features rather than waiting to trigger them naturally. You'll see five modes with different costs: Bonus Hunt (3x bet), Bandit Jailbreak (25x), Coin Game (50x), Bonus (100x), and Super Bonus (500x). The minimum X-iter purchase is €0.60, maximum €50,000. Tap the plaque to view your options, then select the mode you want. Your bet gets multiplied by the mode's cost—so if you're on a €1.00 bet and choose Bonus (100x), you'll pay €100 for that single game round. X-iter only works in base game; you can't activate it during features.

Additional Controls

The hamburger menu (three lines, top left) opens game rules, paytable, and settings. You can switch between currency and coin display, adjust sound, or check your game history from there.

Bonuses & Symbols

PIROTS 3 is a collection slot where four bird characters move around a 7×6 grid (expandable to 8×7) collecting symbols. Birds collect gems matching their own colour and various feature symbols. Wins happen when birds collect paying symbols, not through traditional paylines.

The Bird Characters

Four bird characters appear on the grid, each paired with a gem colour: green bird, purple bird, brown/red bird, and blue bird. Birds move horizontally or vertically to adjacent symbols. Each bird collects gems matching its own colour plus all feature symbols.

Bandit character - dark bird with top hat in cage

The Bandit

Above the grid sits a locked cage containing the Bandit – a dark bird with a top hat and white collar. When released by a key symbol, the bandit moves across the grid collecting gems of any colour and all feature symbols.

Special Symbols

Wild symbol - multicoloured ring with bandit silhouette

Wild Symbol

A multicoloured ring containing a dark bandit bird silhouette. The Wild substitutes for any gem at its current payout level. The black bandit wild always represents whichever gem is currently at the highest payout level.

Golden coin symbols with multiplier values

Coin Symbols

Golden coins displaying multiplier values. When collected by a bird, the coin pays its value times your current bet. Values are: 2x, 5x, 10x, 25x, 50x, 100x, 500x, 1000x, 2500x.

MAX WIN coin symbol

The MAX WIN coin is marked with "MAX WIN" text. When collected, it immediately pays the remaining amount needed to reach the game's maximum win of 10,000x your bet.

Bonus symbol - golden bull skull with BONUS text

Bonus Symbols

Golden bull skulls with curved horns and "BONUS" text. Collecting three bonus symbols during a game round triggers the Free Drops Bonus Game.

Upgrade symbol - silver horseshoe with numbers

Upgrade Symbols

Silver or grey horseshoes marked with numbers 1, 2, or 3. When collected, upgrades the payout level of gems matching the collecting bird's colour by 1, 2, or 3 steps. Gems max out at level 7.

Upgrade All symbol - golden horseshoe with numbers

Upgrade All Symbols

Golden horseshoes marked with numbers 1, 2, or 3. When collected, upgrades all four gem colours simultaneously by 1, 2, or 3 steps.

Dynamite symbol - TNT crate and dynamite bundles

Dynamite Symbols

Appear as brown wooden crates with yellow "TNT" labels and red dynamite sticks protruding from the top, or as bundles of red dynamite with fuses. When collected, triggers an explosion when birds finish collecting symbols.

Dynamite comes in two sizes: standard (explodes nearby area) and large (explodes entire grid). Both remove all symbols except feature symbols, expand the grid by 1 row or 1 column (large dynamite expands to maximum 8×7 immediately), and cause symbols to redrop.

Transform symbol - brown ceramic jug with X pattern

Transform Symbols

Brown ceramic jugs with cross or X patterns. When collected, transforms an adjacent cluster of gems into the same colour as the collecting bird. Each transformed gem can become a feature symbol instead.

Peanut symbol - red and white striped popcorn container

Peanut Symbols

Red and white vertically-striped popcorn containers overflowing with yellow popcorn. When collected, fills empty grid spaces with peanuts. This allows birds to cross empty areas one time each to reach additional symbol clusters.

Key symbol - golden key

Key Symbols

Golden keys. When collected by a bird, triggers the Bandit's Escape feature once birds finish collecting symbols.

Symbol Collection Meter

Symbol collection meter horizontal bar

A horizontal bar sits above the game grid, tracking collected gems and wilds. Only symbols collected by the four bird characters count – the bandit doesn't contribute. When the meter fills, one feature symbol release is added, converting 3 gems into random feature symbols. Up to three releases can stack and trigger simultaneously.

Features & Bonuses

Duel feature showing birds in showdown

Duel (Showdown)

Two adjacent birds have a random chance to duel when they can't collect more symbols. Three or more birds next to each other always trigger this.

During the duel, birds move apart, then shoot randomly in horizontal, vertical and diagonal directions. Gems along shooting lines are removed. Bonus, super bonus, key and coin symbols are collected. Dynamite symbols ignite. Birds redrop after the duel and empty spaces refill.

Train Heist feature showing train with carts

Train Heist

Two or four positions on the left and right grid edges are marked with train backdrops. If a bird collects a symbol on a train backdrop and that same bird can reach a symbol on the opposite side's train backdrop, the train heist triggers.

The bird boards a train that travels around the grid, awarding 1, 2 or 3 feature symbols. Red carts hold various feature symbols; golden coin carts hold coin bags. The train stops at the opposite side and the bird disembarks to continue collecting.

Bandit's Escape feature with wanted poster display

Bandit's Escape

Triggered when a bird collects a key symbol. The bandit unlocks his cage and lands on the grid. He collects any gem colour and all feature symbols, moving to adjacent symbols horizontally or vertically.

When the bandit encounters another bird, they duel. If the bandit wins, that bird is removed and the bandit continues collecting. If the bird wins, the bandit's accumulated winnings pay out and the feature ends.

If the bandit defeats all four birds, he collects all remaining grid symbols, pays out the total, then triggers the bandit coin game.

The bandit's total value appears on a wanted poster display. The bandit doesn't contribute to the symbol collection meter.

Coin Game feature with coin bags and lassos

Coin Game

Triggered when the entire game grid is cleared by birds or the bandit (including through the peanut feature).

Coin bags and scorpions drop onto the grid. A train arrives carrying either the bandit or the birds. They throw lassos attempting to catch coin bags. Captured coin bag values multiply by your bet and add to the win counter. Any character catching a scorpion exits the game. The feature ends when no characters remain, paying the accumulated win counter value.

Free Drops Bonus Game feature

Free Drops Bonus Game

Triggered by collecting three bonus symbols during a round. Awards 5 free drops. The grid size, symbol collection meter progress and gem payout levels all persist from the triggering spin. For tips on managing your bankroll during bonus rounds, see our responsible gambling guide.

Each bonus symbol collected during free drops awards 1 additional free drop. Any pending feature symbol releases trigger at the start of the first free drop. The bonus ends when free drops run out or max win is reached.

Super Bonus feature at maximum grid size

Super Bonus

Functions like the regular bonus game but starts with the grid at maximum size (8 rows by 7 columns) and all upgrade symbols upgrade all four gem colours.

Feature-Dense But Overwhelming

+ Pros

  • X-iter feature buy with five options skip straight to coin game (50x), bonus (100x), or super bonus (500x) - all legal in UK
  • Interlocking feature ecosystem birds collecting gems, train heists, bandit jailbreaks, and duels create varied moment-to-moment play
  • Expandable grid through dynamite starts 7x6, grows to 8x7 during sessions, dynamically changing available space
  • Character-driven collection mechanics four colour-coded birds plus bandit create narrative investment beyond abstract symbols
  • Seven-level gem upgrade system persistent progression within rounds builds toward cascading bigger wins
  • Multiple bonus pathways coin game, free drops, super bonus, bandit escape offer different win structures rather than single bonus type

Cons

  • 94% RTP significantly below average UK's mandatory display makes this poor value immediately obvious
  • Mechanical overload obscures gameplay tracking gem upgrade levels, collection meter, multiple bird positions simultaneously is exhausting
  • Third Pirots in 15 months franchise fatigue evident, iterative refinement rather than fresh ideas
  • Feature buy costs escalate brutally super bonus at 500x means £500 on a £1 stake, accessibility nightmare
  • 10,000x max win gated behind complexity only achievable if you master all systems, casual play won't get close
